Research Interests

I am mainly involved in uncovering the mechanisms of endoplasmic reticulum stress in regulation of metabolic disorder and hepatocarcinogenesis based on the acyl-CoA oxidase 1 deficient (Acox1-/-), leptin and Acox1 double deficient (ob-/-Acox1-/-), and Promethin deficient (Prom-/-) mice.
