Research Interests

Experimental: Hepatocarcinogenesis in rats and mice: nongenotoxic models peroxisome proliferator-induced hepatocarcinogenesis. AOX null mice model of spontaneous hepatocarcinogenesis. Study of liver stem cells in rat pancreas. Experimental models of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.

Clinical: Pancreatic tumors: evaluation of prognostic markers. Hepatic tumors: characterization of morphological, phenotypic and prognostic factors. Colonic tumors: characterization of carcinomas arising in inflammatory bowel disease.
